Art

The National Art Gallery has an outdoor gallery too - I think we found Gerald a house there.

Then we went to the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum. It's one of my favorites. I think Gerald liked it too. He met lots of nice people and saw some of the best things in the museum!

Gerald stopped by the front desk to pick up a map. He kept it for a souvenir.

Traveling in style.

When you first walk in, the first thing you see is a huge African elephant. Gerald wanted to pose with it, but the lighting is really bad.

This was also where we met our first person wanting to know what we were doing. This man was from Hungary and had his son, who spoke English, ask what we were doing.

Hanging with the dinosaurs.

It's a Camarasaurus - lol

A giant 3 toed Sloth...

...and a Mastodon.

Stegasauri were really big! He didn't have much to say to Gerald either, but I understand their brains were about as big as a walnut, so that could have had something to do with it...

That's a BIG Bird!

Do gnomes like mining as much as dwarves do? Gerald seemed to like this mining display.

Ooo... Gold!
